Campus IT Plan Research Summit

Monday, February 10, 2020, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Tresidder Oak Lounge

Our third annual Stanford Campus IT Plan Summit will be on February 10, 2020 in the Tresidder Oak Lounge, on the topic of Research. The event will be sponsored by University IT, and hosted by Ruth Marinshaw and Zach Chandler. We have a fantastic lineup to inspire and engage the IT community supporting Stanford’s research mission.

What is the Research Summit?

We’re glad you asked! Every year for the past three years we have held a summit that focuses on IT efforts across the entire university. Each year has had a different theme. The first year, we focused on content and data management, the second year we focused on the student experience, and this is the year that we focus on research.

Why is this Important?

This event is an opportunity for us to peer out of our silos and get a sense of what else is happening in the research community. This vantage point can help people connect the dots on how their work fits into the bigger picture, spark ideas about how we might work smarter, or how we might leverage tools that other groups are using for our own projects.

This community event will include time for networking, discussion, and idea-sharing.
