Take the BigFix to Jamf Transition Survey
In June 2021, University IT (UIT) announced the rollout of Jamf software to enhance the management of Stanford macOS devices, replacing BigFix. To ensure a smooth transition between device management systems, the Jamf team has created a survey to gather feedback from those who manage macOS devices.
Introducing Register Anywhere: A New Stanford Device Registration Feature
The Stanford Device Registration (SDR)'s latest feature, Register Anywhere, enables the community to register devices remotely for seamless access to the Stanford network upon arrival.
University IT Website Launched on Drupal 10
University IT (UIT) launched the new UIT website (uit.stanford.edu) on Drupal 10. The site was previously on Drupal 7 — a version that will no longer receive security support in January 2025.
Stanford Domains Cloud Vendor Is Upgrading on December 19
Reclaim Hosting, Stanford Domains' cloud vendor, will upgrade its web hosting platform to the latest version on December 19.
