Learn more about ways to connect with the IT Community

Join us for the kickoff of the CIO Council Ask Me Anything series, a monthly all-Zoom opportunity for IT staff to hear directly from a CIO Council member and ask questions. Each month, a CIO Council member will present for up to 30 minutes, followed by a community Q&A. This is in response to the IT Community’s desire to hear more from top IT leaders outside of their own organization, and have opportunities to engage with them.

This month, Michael Halaas will present on the strategic area of IT workforce, and specifically the reasons and approach to the unification of the IT teams from School of Medicine and Stanford Health Care. Michael is the Chief Information Officer and Associate Dean for Industry Relations and Digital Health in the School of Medicine. He will be joined by Eric Yablonka, CIO of Stanford Health Care, who will help answer your questions about their strategy and approach with the IT unification.
