We welcome you to join this month's ExCITE featuring Paul Robles, CIO, Residential and Dining Enterprises Central Operations, and IDEAL IT co-leads. You will have the chance to network with diverse leaders and learn about opportunities to gain leadership experiences.

With a transformative journey in the world of IT, Paul Robles is a trailblazer in the field of technology and leadership. Over 30 years, he has harnessed his passion for innovation and student success, steadily progressing to the esteemed role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Residential and Dining Enterprises (R&DE) at Stanford University.

Embarked on a journey fueled by curiosity and a deep-seated commitment to higher education, student success, and the aspirational goal of making education more accessible, he consistently demonstrated a knack for turning a challenge into an opportunity with a visionary perspective on the enabling technology in support of the mission.

Over the course of his career, he has fostered innovation and strategies that have reimagined the role of technology. His authentic leadership has recently steered technology teams through COVID lockdowns while adding technology into two (2) million square feet of graduate housing on campus, leaving an indelible mark on the organization’s success.

But beyond the accolades, Paul is an advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in Higher Education technology. His journey from an engineering intern to CIO exemplifies a steadfast belief in breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups, an ethos that he shares generously through mentorship and thought leadership.

Join Paul at the fireside chat event as he unveils the intricacies of his IT evolution. From navigating challenges to shaping the tech landscape, he will provide insights that transcend the role of CIO, inspiring a new generation of technology enthusiasts.
