2018 IT Unconference Takes Place Dec. 6

Join your IT colleagues for a day of collaboration and learning
Stanford IT Unconference: communities build future

Plans are underway for the eighth annual Stanford IT Unconference, Thursday, Dec. 6 at the School of Medicine’s Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge.

The IT Unconference is a free, day-long gathering where Stanford's IT professionals collaborate and build community around timely topics that are important to them. This annual event – sponsored by schools, departments, and administrative units across the university – is a unique opportunity to pick up valuable tips and meet great IT people from all corners of the campus.

After a casual breakfast meet-and-greet, the program kicks off with agenda creation after which we dive right into sessions. The program includes morning and afternoon lightning talks. You’re welcome to attend whichever part(s) of the program fit your schedule – you'll get the most out of the event if you attend for the entire day.

Register next week

Registration opens at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8 on the IT Unconference website. As in past years, we expect all of the spaces to fill very quickly.

Help run the unconference

We need help running the event. In exchange, get an unconference t-shirt and a behind-the-scenes experience.

To volunteer just email “I’ll help” to Tony Christopher at ajchrist@stanford.edu.
