Axess is Getting a Refresh This August

Axess Refresh: Bringing you an easier, more intuitive user experience

Get ready for something refreshing!

Axess is getting an upgrade on Aug. 9 as part of the Axess Refresh project. Overall, the upcoming refresh will modernize how Axess looks and works, while maintaining the key tools and features we all rely on.

What is changing?

The upcoming refresh will make Axess more user-friendly now and more adaptable for the future.

For most at Stanford, the noticeable changes will be:

  • A more modern look and feel, including updated layouts for some pages
  • Improved navigation and search options
  • New custom features and tools, such as the ability to toggle among your available roles at Stanford

And when?

The updated Axess environment is in the final stages of development with user testing underway. Go-live is planned for Tuesday, August 9.

The upgrade will require about three days of downtime over the preceding weekend (Friday afternoon through Monday).
