Have you heard about the Explore Careers In Technology Event (ExCITE)?

The Explore Careers In Technology Event (ExCITE) is sponsored by the CIO Council and the People of Color in Technology (POC-IT) affinity group. ExCITE is focused on career advancement and increasing internal DEI hiring within the Stanford technology community. The second POC-IT ExCITE event was held on Thursday, March 17.

Sessions presented opportunities for participants to network and learn together. This event also included discussions about career exploration through workshops and presentations.  See the complete list of sessions and available recordings below.

The POC-IT affinity group continues to work behind the scenes and through events like ExCITE to increase representation and opportunities for people of color in technology roles, or aspiring to technology roles, at Stanford. Look for the next ExCITE event in July!
