Introducing Navigate Classes

A New Class Search Experience Designed for and With Stanford Students

By Johanna Metzgar | Associate Vice Provost for Student & Academic Services & University Registrar

In April, Student & Academic Services (SAS) launched Navigate Classes, Stanford's new enterprise class search experience designed for and with students. This application will eventually replace Explore Courses, a student-developed application that’s more than 12 years old.

Watch the video introduction below, and when you’re done, check out the new application at navigator.stanford.edu.

What students are saying

We emailed all active students last Friday to let them know they could begin using this new class search as they modify their spring quarter schedules and enroll in summer quarter classes.

Already, Navigate Classes has received a great response from students on Fizz, a Stanford student social network, with 2,000 upvotes since a shoutout for the new application was posted on Friday.

We encourage you to let students in your schools, programs, and departments know Navigate Classes is available to explore Stanford’s  spring and summer class offerings.
