Microsoft has announced it will soon stop providing security updates and support for Windows 10. To keep Stanford systems secure and well-supported, all Windows 10 computers used for Stanford work activities must upgrade to Windows 11 by Sept. 15, 2025.
After Sept. 15, devices remaining on Windows 10 will be non-compliant and unable to connect to the Stanford network or access critical systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, and Axess.
