Thank you for your interest and submissions. All of the lightning talk slots for Converge 2025 have been filled.
You can pitch an idea, a project, a solution, a trend or a perspective to hundreds of Converge attendees—present a 10,000-foot view or break out the nuts and bolts. You will have five minutes to blast out the information to an audience looking for fast facts. You will also have the option to pre-record your talk.
Lightning talks will take place on the main stage in the morning. See the full day's schedule.
What is a lightning talk?
Each Lightning Talk will:
- last for 300 seconds max - that's up to five minutes
- contain up to 15 slides
- start on time and end on time or earlier
Why give one?
You have something you are excited about and want to get the word out across campus. You are looking for a quick gauge of reaction to something new or promising.
What's in it for the audience?
You get a lot of info in a short period of time. If one talk doesn't interest you, the others likely will. And, the commitment is minimal.
