Research Computing Advisory Committee

The purpose of the research computing advisory committee (RCAC) is to make recommendations to the Vice Provost and Dean of Research and the Chief Information Officer on the direction of campus wide research computing activities. Such recommendations may include feedback on services, priorities, implementations, communication, funding, business models, and policy.

When policy recommendations relate to the purview of faculty governance committees, such as C-ACIS and C-RES, appropriate referrals to those committees will be made. The RCAC is jointly sponsored by the Dean of Research and the Chief Information Officer.

The committee will be composed of the membership outlined below. Members will serve three year renewable terms on the committee.
