The ADAPT governance groups collectively function as a technology council for the Stanford Alumni Association (SAA) and the Office of Development (OOD), ensuring that technology decisions both inform and are informed by a broader university lens, while also ensuring campaign readiness, delivering on promises to alumni and donors, and continuing to mitigate business risks associated with PostGrads until we decommission it.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the ADAPT council are grouped into three areas.
Executive Steering Committee
- Act as program champions
- Provide guidance and direction for key business strategies
- Resolve issues escalated by the program sponsors as needed
- Carry ultimate authority and responsibility for the program initiative
- Approve the governance structure, scope, objectives, schedule, budget
- Secure spending authority and resources
ADAPT Sponsors
- Serve as primary owners and drivers of the program
- Develop and oversee the governance structure, scope, objectives, schedule, and budget
- Provide strategic direction and support resolution of critical program issues
ADAPT Steering Team (AST)
- Cross-org stakeholder team that will provide advisory input to sponsors
