Ready to dive into the world of Apple device management? A newly created Jamf training lets you take control of your learning journey.

Let’s discuss what the training is

The Jamf training will guide you through a range of topics from enrollment to configuration. Whether you want more information on a single topic or strive to become a true Jamf pro, the learning modules are self-paced and available at your convenience — so you have the flexibility to create your own training experience.

So go ahead and level up to your desired proficiency. You’ll soon be on your way to pursuing Jamf certifications and becoming an automation superhero.

Here’s what the training isn’t

Although the training thoroughly overviews the tool and its capabilities, it won’t cover Jamf or Jamf @ Stanford in-depth. Instead, University IT (UIT) will continue to publish knowledge articles and webpages for common issues or complicated topics that require detailed documentation. Information is constantly being created, situations and features change, and you can expect your learning will continue beyond this training module as the Apple management experience evolves. You can stay up-to-date by searching in ServiceNow or joining the conversation in Slack at #jamf

A Tech Training production

Technologists in UIT’s Endpoint Engineering and Development (EED) in collaboration with the university’s Technology Training team turned their subject matter expertise and content ideas into a scalable module using tech training’s instructional design expertise and e-learning development skills.

“We knew that offering Jamf training to Stanford’s IT community is an important step toward optimizing this powerful tool. Partnering with Tech Training has proved to be invaluable. We now have engaging and interactive content that learners can take and revisit according to their specific needs,” said Jeff Barkow, associate director for EED.
