Summary
As Spiderman's uncle said to him, "With great power comes great responsibility". That is the main point that I'm trying to convey. I gave a quick overview and tour on how to secure a web application server running on AWS. Demonstrating an example from a real web application running on AWS then proceeded with the more stringent requirements as stated on the minsec document at Stanford. Discussed the "minsec" layers of software needed to protect Stanford web applications then ended with an open forum on questions and sharing of experience of attendees.
